Meet GA 2425 - A Fragment of Second Timothy and Titus

GA 2425 is one of the manuscripts that were considered "irrelevant" by Aland and Aland on the basis of its primarily Byzantine text.  But let's get to know it anyway. It contains Second Timothy 3:6-Titus 1:3, along with a colophon of Second Timothy and a summary of Titus.

In Second Timothy 4:3, 6, 7, 14, 15, an d 16, 2425 supports Byzantine readings, but in 4:13 it supports φαιλόνην instead of φελόνην.  

There is a lectionary apparatus in the margins, and arche and telos symbols embedded in the text.

The colophon of Second Timothy includes a stichoi-count of 152.  The hypothesis of Titus occupies nearly a full page.  

The renowned passage in which all Scripture is affirmed to be inspired by God appears exactly as it appears in the Byzantine Text and the Textus Receptus, .

Πᾶσα γραφὴ θεόπνευστος καὶ ὠφέλιμος πρὸς διδασκαλίαν, πρὸς ἔλεγχον, πρὸς ἐπανόρθωσιν, πρὸς παιδείαν τὴν ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ, with one final consonant not written.
