I just want to point out, it has been argued (cogently, I think) that the Quaestiones ad Marinum are not by Eusebius but rather by Acacius.

Alice Whealey, “Quaestiones Ad Marinum: Eusebius or Acacius of Caesarea?,” Revue bénédictine 123 (2013): 193–213. https://doi.org/10.1484/J.RB.1.103598

If correct, I wonder how this might affect the analysis.Lukehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04026024442676094256noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6346409181794331060.post-79708786941200875102020-04-17T21:59:35.439-04:002020-04-17T21:59:35.439-04:00Please note that paul does NOT quote Mark 16:15 in...Please note that paul does NOT quote Mark 16:15 in Colossians 1:23 here is Mark 16:15 "15 And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation." Some books that are very useful for getting into this field can be downloaded for free at http://www.curtisvillechristianchurch.org/NTTCLibrary.htm .
I'm not sure that there is a school where NTTC is taught at an advanced level in a way that takes full account of the implications of evidence since the 1950's; the "Interlude" is still mostly there. But perhaps the least-worst options would be Tyndale House --
http://www.tyndale.cam.ac.uk/ -- or the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary --
http://www.nobts.edu/cntts/default.html . Not DTS.

I recommend that for the first several years of classroom study, a textual-critic-in-training should focus on learning Greek (and a bit of Coptic and Syriac wouldn't hurt), learning early church history, and familiarizing oneself with the materials, in the hope that one or two decades later one might be ready to draw some conclusions.
